Community of Vision Day 2026

Audio Journal was pleased to be part of Community of Vision Day, held on October 3, 2026, at Green Hill Park in Worcester.

Sponsored by Audio Journal, the Memorial Foundation for the Blind, and the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind, the event brought together members of the blindness and low-vision community for a day of friendship, activities, and time outdoors.

Representing Audio Journal were Harry Duchesne, along with volunteer Bill Ruggiero and Board of Directors member CJ Posk.

The day included a delicious lunch from Creedon, followed by arts and crafts activities with the MCPHS Low Vision Student Support Group.

Attendees also enjoyed a walk through the park to the Vietnam Memorial. The walk was especially meaningful for CJ, who was able to locate her uncle’s name on the memorial wall—a special and memorable moment during an already wonderful day.

It was a great opportunity to connect with friends and colleagues in the community, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and celebrate the connections that make events like Community of Vision Day so special. A great day was had by all!
