We’d love to see you for our annual fundraising event - a delightful radio play: "Castaways & Coconuts: A Gilligan's Island Parody," a two-act one-hour radio play performed by the Audio Journal 'Radio Active Theatre' volunteers.

 

Your support will help fund our amazing radio reading broadcasts and podcasts for the blind and visually impaired of Worcester County. Our programs prevent alienation and connect individuals to their community.

WHEN: Sunday, April 19, 2026 from 1pm-4pm

WHERE: Holy Cross College, Hogan Center, 1 College St., Worcester, MA

WHAT: Live Radio Play, Raffles, & Live Auction

 

The experience will give guests a fun, comedic night to remember. A Live two-act, one hour radio play ... Also, you won’t want to miss the Raffle prizes, LIVE Auction and invaluable opportunity to chat with fellow supporters of Audio Journal.

SEATING: Seating at Castaways and Coconuts will be theatre style in the HC Hogan Ballroom.

Dress Code: Business Casual

Parking: Once you arrive at the College on College St, go up the hill to the last gate on the left. The Hogan Center is the second building on the left and the large parking lot is on the right. If you need assistance when you arrive, please let us know in advance. Once you enter the building, there are about 5 steps to the first floor. The Hogan Ballroom is immediately on the left once you go up the steps to the first floor. If you are in need of an elevator, there is a ‘LIFT’ just to the right of the steps.

1:00 pm Appetizers and Refreshments: Doors will open at 1:00 pm with the Cash Bar & Appetizers: (NO Sit-Down Dinner this year): Open Cash Bar with hors d’oeuvres & Appetizers (including vegetarian).

​

2:00 pm Show: Shop will begin promptly at 2:00 pm - "Castaways & Coconuts" will be a Two-Act ONE HOUR show beginning at 2:00 with a 15-minute intermission. Show will conclude with a LIVE Auction at 3:15 pm.
